Reemo: Male Model Feature

Kareem “Reemo” Petteway was born and raised in the south side of Washington, DC. He took an early interest in entertainment participating in local talent shows as well as competing in oratorical and drama competitions. The early start of his career includes performances at Folgers Shakespeare Theater and as a student at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. He later received a cameo appearance in the critically acclaimed independent film “The Ties That Bind.” This prompted him to audition for the independent drama “Anacostia – The Series” where he assumed the role of Craig “Creeko” Grayson. Under the hood, Reemo, as he is affectionately known, is a professional drug-free bodybuilder which among his many accomplishments includes the title of Mr. Universe.

He has appeared in numerous national ad campaigns and magazines as a print model and spokesman. Currently, he works as a Project Manager and Senior Information Technology Engineer which he finds very rewarding while continuing to pursue other opportunities in the world of entertainment. While he maintains a very tight schedule, he continues to mentor youth in the DC metropolitan area as well as continued involvement in many non-profit organizations that help to educate, empower and assist those less fortunate.
